We were supposed to build a montage of several images imitating either this artist whom I never heard of  or this one whom I knew just as much about. Here’s my submission: Click on it to enlarge:

Our assignment was to find an old photograph, restore it and colorize it a touch. We could use our own image or find one we like on the Library Of Congress Online Catalog. I found one a photograph I like there

And here is what I turned in:

You are supposed to combine two images. Both are from the Reno Air Races 2010. The planes on top are the same ones on the ground in the bottom. I flipped them upside down because it I though looks more dramatic.

Just in case, folks accuse me of not listening to my loyal followers. Here is the results of the most popular request to use the image 4 times:

This is the image I hope to be graded on.

This class is really a Photoshop class, called something like “Introduction to Digital Imaging”. It’s all online and made up of Tutorials and Design Projects, where you are supposed to use the skills you’ve learned. This time we were supposed to use one image, duplicate it and combine it into one image.

Now that I see it online, I see it’s very long and thin which isn’t all that pleasing. I hope I don’t get points off for it. Maybe I will try to use the same image 4 times to see what happens.
