Home Page

This purpose of these pages is to provide a demonstration of Model Based Testing of an HTML application using IBM Rational Functional Tester for Java and Web, formally XDE Tester, and before that Robotj. For some reason, the name was changed with each new version, but the software is the same.

For a good tutorial on Model Based Testing look here.

In addition I've written a couple of articles, here are the links:

This article was written for IBM's Developer Works

Beginning on Page 18 of February 2005 edition of System Test and Performance Magazine

For help with installing and running the sample code see the detailed installation instructions.

Here's the link to the Model-Based Testing presentation given at several conferences

Everything on these pages (except the above paragraphs) is false. All the news articles, auction, items, mail, etc. are jokes.

The source code and all contents are Copyrighted by Jeff Feldstein 2004, 2005. Feel free to use it as the basis of your model-based testing using XDE Tester, but you can't sell it. In addition it's not guaranteed to do anything useful. It may not even be benign, so use it at your own risk.
